HENRY GRADY DOYLE
GADSDEN, ALA. - Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Henry Grady Doyle, 86, of Gadsden, who passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013. Rev. Taylor Gallman will officiate. Burial will be at Blountsville Cemetery at 2:00 Wednesday.
Mr. Doyle was born September 24, 1926 in Blountsville, AL to Cullen M. and Rhoda G. Doyle. He attended J.B. Pennington High School and graduated after his service in the U.S. Navy. He moved to Texas in the 1950's where he worked for Alcoa Aluminum Company as a lab analyst for 35 years. He lived in Victoria Texas and had 3 children in Palacios, TX. In the early 1990's he retired home to Gadsden. He was a member of Bellevue United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Cullen M. Doyle and Rhoda (Posey) Doyle; and brother, Bill Doyle.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Bonner Doyle; daughters: Brenda R. Buckley, and Sarah D. Mayfield; sons: Shane A. Doyle, Mark Foster, and Joe Foster Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Doyle Green; brother, Danny Doyle; best friend, Jay Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Shane Doyle Jr., Alan J. Mayfield, Steven Foster, Kenneth Osborn, , Jay Moore, , and Gene Cleveland.
Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class at Bellevue UMC.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 10:00-12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
