SEANDRA "COOKI" DAVIS
CYPRESS - Seandra "Cooki" Davis, 42, of Cypress, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013, in Houston. She was born May 8, 1970 in Victoria to Gloria Davis. She attended Nazareth Academy and St. Joseph High School. She received a Master's in Psychology from Prairie View A&M and worked for IFCO as a payroll specialist. She was also a Catholic.
She is survived by her mother, Gloria Davis of Victoria; daughter, Bailey Jacobs of Cypress; son, Brindon Christopher Jacobs of Cypress; father of her children, Brion Jacobs of Cypress; sisters, Candi Davis, Eleanor Tisdom, Janice McMurray, Rhonda Davis, and Evelyn White, all of Victoria; and godparents, Richard and Rosie Basaldua.
She is preceded in death by her father; grandmother, Lizzie Gentry; and children, Babyboy Jacobs and Babygirl Jacobs.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Artero Memorial Chapels. Visitation will resume from 9 - 10 a.m. before a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Richard Basaldua, Ricky Basaldua, Jeffrey Hill, Thomas Mathis Jr., Kris Hill, and Tristan Jones. Honorary pallbearers: Andrea Joseph, Lakisha Taylor, Tiffany Green, Janean Liburd, and Paula J. Mason.
