SHINER - Blanche Scarnato Greenwell, age 88, passed away January 28, 2013.
She was born October 18, 1924 in San Antonio to Joe and Antoinette Granato Scarnato. She was a homemaker.
Survivors: daughter; Patty Jaehne and husband Gus of Shiner: son; Tom Greenwell of San Antonio: granddaughter; Hilary Jaehne of College Station; sister Mary Cliffe of San Antonio.
Preceded in death by: parents, husband Thomas Greenwell; brothers; Frank Scarnato ,Tony Scarnato and Blas Scarnato; sisters; Carmen Nicholson and Frances Kelly.
Visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church at 111 Barilla Place, San Antonio, with Rev. Joe Moyer. Burial at later date at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
Pallbearers; Mike Greenwell, Sam Scarnato, Tony Scarnato, Pat Kelly, and Pete Schill.
