ROBERT HALL SESSIONS
REFUGIO - Robert Hall Sessions passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013
Robert was born September 11,1928 to Bob and Berta Sessions. He was a life long resident of Refugio County attending schools in Tivoli, Austwell and Refugio. Robert was proud of the time he spent with the U.S. Marines. His early years were spent working in the oil fields until obtaining enough funds to buy the Refugio Radiator Shop of which he operated for over sixty years. An ardent supporter of the Refugio High School "Bobcats"; rarely, if ever, missing a game at home or away. His presence at future games will be sorely missed. Robert's other love was for befriending and caring for stray animals. After picking them up they were always sent to the Vet first for shots and any needed medication before providing them with a loving home.
Roberts parents and one brother, Frank, preceded him in death.
Survivors: Three brothers, Joseph, Ben and Al Sessions. numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation from 6p-8p Thursday, January 31, 2013
Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7 PM at Moore Funeral Home.
Burial Mass will be at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church at 2 pm Friday, February 1, 2013
Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic cemetery following the funeral services.
