VICTORIA - Michael Allen Adamcik, oldest son of Otto and Irene Adamcik, died peacefully on June 22, 2013 after a short illness. Mike was born on May 1, 1944, and enjoyed life to the fullest.
He graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1962, and married Tana Sue Matthews. They moved to Houston, where he was a route salesman for Frito Lay for 25 years.
As a boy, Mike learned to fish in Victoria's Spring Creek, always after the elusive grand-daddy catfish.
In his later years, he lived in Texas City and fished the waters of Galveston Bay. He enjoyed turning a hand of poker, and drinking a cold beer on a hot day.
Michael is survived by his sister, Julie Heath and husband David of Rosenberg; brother, Bob Adamcik of Maryville TN; and sister, Patti Kavanaugh and husband Joe of Fort Worth.
Mike's sister, Marylynn Arlan, died in 2008.

He was proud of his grandchildren: Cameron & Preston House; Blake & Baylor Herring; and Kyndal, Dahral, and Brooklyn Raddin.
