ERNESTO SAUCEDA SR.
KARNES CITY - Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, Ernesto Sauceda, Sr., passed away on March 4, 2013 in Victoria, Texas. He was born on October 29, 1936 in Karnes City, Texas to Dionicio Sauceda and Petra (Loya) Sauceda.
He is survived by his children, Gloria Roberts and her husband Joe of Goliad, Irma Gutierrez and her husband Carlos, Jr. of Goliad, Sally Esparza and her husband Danny of Runge and by Ernesto Sauceda, Jr. and his wife Jeri of Karnes City; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother, Teofilo Sauceda of Karnes City and by his sister, Angelita Gonzales of Kenedy.
Mr. Sauceda was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Natividad "Tiva" Sauceda.
Visitation will begin on Thursday March 7, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Rhodes Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm on Thursday at Rhodes Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday March 8, 2013 at 10 am at St. Cornelius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the New Breman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Roberts, Derek Roberts, Ryan Esparza, Trey Sauceda, Christopher Gutierrez, Carlos Sauceda, Pablo Cruz and Robert Sauceda.
