TROY ALLEN DEAN
VICTORIA - Troy Allen Dean, 37, who went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, March, 2, 2013 was the youngest son born to Betty Finlay and George Finlay, Jr. He was born on April 1, 1975 in Victoria. Troy accepted Christ in his life at an early age.
Troy was employed with Victoria Irrigation. He loved being with his children and family and deeply loved fishing.
In addition to his parents, Troy is survived by his two brothers, Nolan (Tonya) Dean Jr., and Leon (Willie Mae) Dean; Long-time companion, Jo Beth Ford; sons, Devon Alexander Dean, and Dashawn Omar Dean; step-sons, Joe Torres, Tawayna Ford, and Christopher Ford; step-grandchildren, Zeyer Ford and Jadha Ford. He was preceded in death by a baby sister, Betsy Renee Dean.
The family will receive friends at Grace Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9 at New Revelation Ministries, 358 Foster Field at Victoria Airport. Pastor Frank Harvery will officiate. Burial will follow at Thomaston Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Terrance Williams, Abraham Cherry, Kenneth Morris, Richard Cantu, Rodney Jackson, and Lee Perez.
