PEGGY "LYNN" HAMM CROW
NURSERY - Peggy "Lynn" Hamm Crow, 59, of Nursery began her new life in Heaven on Tuesday March 19, 2013. Lynn was born October 6, 1953 in Donaldsonville, LA to Elbert Wray and Peggy DeJean Hamm. She graduated from Stroman High School in 1972. Lynn married her "sweetie", Larry, October 30, 1971. They had three beautiful children. She dedicated her life to serving others. Lynn retired from Nursery Independent School District in July 2012. Prior to that, she worked at Region III Education Service Center for 23 years. She touched the lives of anyone she came in contact with. Lynn met a million people and genuinely had a million friends. If you were blessed to ever come in contact with her, she left an impression on your heart. She loved her family more than anything and always put others first. In 2001, Lynn took on the role of "Granna" after the birth of her first grandchild. From that moment on, there was an inseparable bond formed. Trent was the light of her life as she was his. Lynn loved to play bingo with her son and friends and loved fishing with her sweetie. Lynn was always uplifting and a truly delightful person who could provide comfort and encouragement to a perfect stranger. Even as she was diagnosed with a rare terminal cancer in 2011, Lynn gracefully smiled and put her faith in the Lord, never questioning her outcome or the Lord's will. She is an inspiration to all.
Lynn is survived by her husband Larry Crow of 41 years, one son, Mark Crow, of Victoria, two daughters, Amy Crow, of Nursery, and Jana Crow and fiancé Ahmad Morris of San Antonio, Grandsons, Trent Haynes of Nursery, and Kai Crow of Arlington. Brother, Mike Hamm of Victoria. Sisters, Susan Kendrick of Victoria, Nancy Brown (Tom) of Gonzales, Cindy Miller (John) of Victoria, Sister-In-Law, Gail Wilkins of Sperry, OK, lifelong best friend Sheila Siepert (Mike) of St. Anthony, ID and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, sister, Patti Zarbock and one grandson.
