DAMON CURTIS LINLEY
TELFERNER - Damon Curtis Linley, 52, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013. He was born January 15, 1961, in Anson to Ramon Douglas and Jo Lea Grote Linley. In 1967 his family moved from Alice to Victoria. Damon attended 1st - 5th grade without missing a day of school. He was awarded a letter of achievement from the President of the United States. Damon had a troubled soul, but a very good heart. He had many friends, and they and his family loved him very much. Damon had a special place in his heart for children and animals. He loved the outdoors, loved to fish, and enjoyed working with plants. We know Damon's grandmothers were waiting for him and welcomed him with open arms. He has finally found his safe haven.
In addition to his parents, Butch and Jo Lea Damon, he is also survived by his sisters, Vickie (Ronnie) Bailey of Weesatche, Lisa Gaye (John) Meyer of Beeville, and Rhonda (Bill) York of Corpus Christi; brothers, David (Carmen) Linley, and Douglas (Debbie) Linley, all of Victoria; and many nieces and nephews.
