WILLIAM G. RODRIGUEZ
PLACEDO - William G. Rodriguez (Guillermo) passed away September 27, 2013 at his home in Placedo, Texas. He was born on March 06,1933 to the late Antonio and Fidela Rodriguez in Vanderbilt, Texas.
After 50 years of service he retired in 2005 from the Alcoa Aluminum Company in Point Comfort, Texas as a Control Operator Foreman. He was a multi talented musician on different instruments. He was part of the Babes Band, Tony's Band and The Four Aces. He was also a member of the Texana Gunslingers. His favorite pass time was spent at the Palace Bingo.
He is survived by his wife Mary B. Rodriguez. He had seven children from his previous marriage, three sons Jimmy G. Rodriguez of Katy, TX., William G. Rodriguez Jr. of Spring, TX., Stephen C. Rodriguez of Olivia, TX. His three daughters Hope Cruz of Waco, TX., Locinda Landry of Hockley, TX., Carol Cope of Albuquerque, NM. In addition he had three step-children Rose Mary Maseda (Deceased), Jose A Flores of Katy, TX., and Josefa F. Ramos of Deer Park, TX., and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His seven siblings were Herminia G. Maseda of Port Lavaca, TX.(Deceased), Anatalia G. Serrata of Houston, TX. and Alicia G. Harvey of Palacios, TX. , Antonio G. Rodriguez, Jimmy G. Rodriguez, Ralph G. Rodriguez, Alexander G. Rodriguez (Deceased).
"William loved and cherished his loving wife of 33 years, Mary, and we can all say that he truly enjoyed spending time with family members and all his friends. His life long journey was to live life to the fullest."
Memorial services to be held at a late date
