VIRGINIA L.S. HAMMAN
YOAKUM - Virginia Lee Stone Hamman, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013.
She was born on July 7, 1944 in Wharton to Hugo and Nola Cook Stone.
She was a nurse for over 30 years at DeTar Hospital and Victoria Regional Medical Center and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Survivors: husband, Garlan Carl Hamman; daughters, Nancy Sue Hamman Klaus (Doug) of Meyersville and Rhonda Jean Hamman Langley ( Rudy Cardenas) of Yoakum; grandchildren, Gregory Lynn Boatwright (Jennifer), Christina Marie Klaus Burks (Chad), Nathan Langley (Amanda), Brandi Chamrad (Trey), Trenton Klaus (Teresa) and Jamie Langley; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Marie Innes of Victoria; and special family friend, Larry Langley.
Preceded in death by parents and a brother, Kenneth Stone.
Visitation from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating. Burial at Hebron Cemetery.
Pallbearers, Lynn Boatwright, Nathan Langley, Jamie Langley, Chad Taylor, Gary Jeffers, Braxton Boatwright and Trey Chamrad.
