Born on Sept. 26, 1925

KOERTH- Doris Marie Kelly Riley, 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014.
She was born on September 26, 1925 to Rose Ann Manning and Dewey J. Kelly.
She married William (Bill) Riley December 28, 1943. Doris was a housewife in her early years and after her husband's death, she owned the Old Timer in Sweet Home. She loved dancing and listening to polka music. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and Sweet Home American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors: daughters, Ann Tesch of Sheridan, Kathy Pekar (Quinn) of Yoakum and Carolyn Riley (Randy Gilpatrick) of Koerth; sons, Charles Riley (Carolyn) of Austin and Daniel Riley (Laura) of Houston; sister, Dorothy Ward (Kenneth) of Colorado; brothers, Delbert Kelly (Linda) of Georgia, Curtis Kelly of Yoakum and Lloyd Kelly (Sue) of Louisiania; 17 grandchildren; 2 step-granddaughters; 19 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren
Preceded in death by: parents, husband, sister and brother-in-law Maureen and Sidney Chandler, infant sister Rose Kelly, daughter-in-law Marcy Riley, sons-in-law Lester Tesch and Hank Matthews.
Rosary at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sweet Home with Rev. Charles Sonnier officiating. Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be given to Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
