Ernesto Deluna Garza

Born on April 20, 1932

BEEVILLE - Ernesto DeLuna Garza, 82, of Beeville, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was born April 20, 1932 in Goliad to the late Prudencio Garza and Maria DeLuna Garza.
Ernesto enjoyed his time hunting and fishing. He had a love for old tractors and working on them. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. James Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons; Ernesto (Zulema) Garza, Jr. of Branson, Missouri, Joe (Olivia) Garza of Schroeder, and Robert (Imelda) Garza of Beeville; daughters, Ida (Gabriel) Orozco of Beeville, Alicia (Vincent) Quimby of Round Rock, and Leticia Garza of Beeville; grandchildren, Brenda Collins, Ernesto Garza III, Amanda Carlton, David Barrientes, Mike Barrientes, John Orozco, Jody Orozco, Gina Orozco, Veronica Meurer, Brandi Quimby, Taylor Quimby, Brandon Fuentes, Orlando Garza, Melanie Garza, Hillary Garza, and Joshua Garza; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Isabel Garcia of Beeville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Nicanora Garcia Garza, and sister Tilita Garza.
Visitation will be held 5 - 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Angelus Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014, at Angelus Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at St. James Catholic Church with a burial following at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be David Barrientes, John Orozco, Mike Barrientes, Jody Orozco, Brandon Fuentes, Orlando Garza, Taylor Quimby, and Joshua Garza.
