I’m outraged that not one member of the Texas congressional delegation has signed on to sponsor Ron Paul’s HB5191 defunding the TransTexas Corridor. Cowards.
Can you believe it? Our president got us all a “stimulus” check from our grandchildren, and now Obama wants another one. Hillary and McCain both prefer a gas tax holiday. We have, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation, 57,000 bridges nationwide that are sub-standard, and they want to cut taxes today and leave those bridges for our children to repair. Let’s stop borrowing from future generations to get out of the mess200 we’re in?
Wow! I noticed the History Channel was still running the global warming special despite all the new evidence from the National Academy of Sciences and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and hundreds of credible scientists that the earth has actually cooled. That blows my mind.
Al Gore on National Public Radio yesterday blamed the cyclone in Burma on global warming. He said the oceans warming is causing more storms. Yet NPR ran a piece last month admitting that scientific robots measuring the oceans say the temperature of the world’s oceans hasn’t increased in five years!
When will NPR and the rest of the media stop allowing this fraud, con man and financial grifter to spread his self-serving lies? This Nobel Prize-Academy
Award winner belongs in a black-and-white-striped jumpsuit and leg irons picking up trash on the highway.
I woke up this morning, and something felt odd. I opened the front door, and there it was slapping me in the face, a cool north breeze. No! It’s just imagination. Al Gore said we are suffering from global warming. I had to be wrong. My senses were playing tricks on me. This just couldn’t be! Why Al Gore got an Academy Award. If Hollywood trusts him, I just had to be wrong. Mass hysteria. That’s what I was suffering. That would explain my need to defy common sense and my own senses. Realize the truth. That wind just looked like a north wind. It’s really from the south. I must be standing at the back door. And it’s a hot south breeze. Oh, yeah! Then I felt better. Whew! I was so relieved I turned on the A/C, sat down with a glass of water, a Zanex and a Valium muttering to myself, “There is global warming, there is global warming....” Al would be proud.
