Editor, the Advocate:

I am currently a second year criminal justice student at Memorial High School. I would just like to let everyone know about the criminal justice program. We have little to no funding and through constant fund raisers we are going to competitions and winning. We don’t work as hard as football or soccer, but we do practice harder then most of the career development schools. We have won one state competition and plan to win another in the coming month.

Editor, the Advocate:

Many of the streets in Victoria contain potholes. When we decide to redo these roads, I believe that we should make them with concrete instead of asphalt. Yes, laying asphalt is cheaper then laying concrete. But, with the repairs needed to fix the asphalt, the cost becomes higher. Concrete, in long run, is cheaper and safer for all drivers.
