Faith has carried Joseph V. Helms through his 80 years of life, 60 as a minister and 56 as a husband to Ola. The couple has 4 children, 7 grandchildren and a set of twin great-grandchildren on the way. Over the years, Helms led 5 different churches as full-time pastor until 1995 when he "redirected" his career. Since then he has continued his calling serving as an interim pastor in more than 30 churches.
