Mannon Mints, of Victoria, has been named to represent the Golden Crescent region on the Texas Silver Haired Legislature. The Silver Haired Legislature meets to identify concerns and challenges of older Texans, offer solutions to the Governor and the Texas Legislature and advocate for all seniors. Representatives are volunteers over the age of 60 who have been elected by peers from 28 regions to serve two-year terms.
