The participants in the Texas Peace Officers Memorial Bicycle Trek ride in honor of Constable John Brown and Point Comfort Police Chief Rick Rush of Calhoun County. The group presented memorial plaques on behalf of each of the officers as they rode through Calhoun County travelling more than 2,300 miles across the state.
