Doris Hofferek, of Victoria, smells her chili before giving it a taste while judging at the V.A.S.A. Pod's 30th annual Chili Cook-off Saturday at Colet Inn Bar and Grill. Nineteen different batches of chili were judged based on color, consistency, smell, taste and after-taste.
