More then 40 people responded to a fatal one-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 59 between Goliad and Berclair Sunday evening. A white Ford F-250 extended-cab pick-up truck was travelling north on the highway when it is believed that the front right tire lost its tread causing the driver to lose control and crash into a tree killing 12 and injuring 11.
