Goliad County volunteer firefighters pick up debris on the side of U.S. Highway 59 between Goliad and Berclair from a one-vehicle wreck that occurred Sunday night leaving 12 dead and 11 hospitalized. A white Ford F-250 extended-cab pick-up truck was travelling north on the highway when it is believed that the front right tire lost its tread causing the driver to lose control and crash into the tree behind the firefighters.
