Sister Juana Jaimes, 82, tries on a headband at the Missionary Catechists of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Convent in Victoria. The sisters were making headbands, purses, crosses and other items. Jaimes says she remembers being a part of their mission with Our Lady of Sorrows. "I enjoyed being with the kids, it was like a family. It was a beautiful experience," she said. She said the sisters would not only take part in guiding families in prayer and visiting their homes to minister to them in Spanish, but they were a part of a lot of the planning for special events throughout the year.
