The John Brewer Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the 17th century sponsored a Heraldry workshop for persons interested in researching their amorial ancestry to qualify for Coats of Arms Certificates on Oct. 11. The meeting was attended by 15 members and guests. Research resources were made available to participants, including a number of books held by the Library, and the application process was reviewed. The workshop leaders were Lori King, state heraldry chairwoman for Colonial Dames; and Mollie Landon, state organizing secretary.
