Calhoun County farmer Kevin Franke directed $2,500 Jan. 28 to the Calhoun County 4-H through America's Farmers Grow Communities to help the chapter plans to start an annual fishing tournament fundraiser to continue to support the Calhoun County 4-H. America's Farmers Grow Communities works directly with farmers to support nonprofit organizations doing important work in rural communities. The program offers farmers the chance to win $2,500, which is then donated to the farmer's nonprofit of choice.
