Members of the Hallettsville Lady Brahmas softball team show off their medals Saturday after finishing as the Class 2A state runners-up. The Lady Brahmas fell 3-0 to Brock in the final and went through the last half of the playoffs playing for classmate Tyler Bludau who was killed in an accident in May.

Hallettsville Lady Brahma second baseman Megan Busselman gets crunched at first as a Brock runner tries to get back to first. Busselman held on to the ball and got the out. Brock went on to defeat Hallettsville 3-0 in the Class 2A state championship game.
