  • I now prefer “climate change” to global warming and I don’t pretend to be a climatologist or a green economist but when I hear the world’s third largest coal-fired energy plant (Duke Energy) say that “green-house emissions” pollute the atmosphere with heat trapping gases, I tend to believe him…When I heard the governor of Montana say his sportsmen are concerned about the future of hunting and fishing because of climate change, I tend to believe him…When a park ranger told use that the snow on top of Pikes’ Peak melts a lot sooner now because of climate change, I tend to believe him…The melting glaziers is not an illusion..IMO

I read that the chemical industry wants to comply with costly legislation(Business Week) that would restrict emissions but they want a permanent ruling rather than one that changes with each administration..They realize they have to live in the community they pollute.

I think green energy will provide us with the next innovation that will help us get out of this economic mess…We can become world leaders in green energy, unless we continue to think green house emission is just about Al Gore, the United States or a local weather report.

That site you provided belongs to Senator Inhofe who along with Texas senator John Cornyn received more campaign donations from the oil and gas industry than Inhofe in the 2002 election cycle.[25] The contributions Inhofe has received from the energy and natural resource sector since taking office have exceeded one million dollars.[26]

Inhofe added language to the Water Resources Development Act that authorized the Corps to enter into "innovative programs" involving "creative management strategies that optimize recreational activities" at underdeveloped Corps lakes in Oklahoma. The Corps then leased development rights at Skiatook Lake in Osage County to the Skiatook Economic Development Authority for 50 years at no cost. SEDA then subleased the property, again at zero cost, to StateSource LLC, owned by Inhofe's former campaign director Ronald Howell. Howell, a former executive with Koch Industries, is active in the Oklahoma Republican Party and conservative causes. [27] As of 2007, Howell's firm had invested over $8 million in developments at Lake Skiatook. [28]

Not a good source ..IMO..Talk about a bias agenda.

  • Without global warming, brought about mainly by the water vapor in the atmosphere from our oceans and rivers, the global temperature would be 60 degrees colder than it is, and most of the globe would be ice-covered.

The question should be whether human-related emissions of CO2 and other so-called greenhouse gases are increasing the world's temperatures. The answer to that is an unequivocal "NO!".
