Guest, you make a point. But, they would be under supervision, obviously. I mean: you wouldn't place a child molester in a daycare setting-PERIOD!. My point is, if these "fellas" could ever be remorseful for what they've done, this could be a step. I didn't say it was the only thing-just an idea. For instance, a drunk driver having to speak at a MADD meeting and facing loved ones who have lost a family member to drunk driving. Even then, some people don't learn. These guys obviously didn't give a rat's ass what they were doing-or did they? Just my opinion, that's all.
I can't find the story this poll relates to. Could someone point me in the right direction?
N4, don't impose the horrible people on the "no-kill" animal shelters! The last thing they need is someone they have to worry about killing or hurting their animals when the miscreant is left alone to "help" the shelter out. Maybe a sentence by a judge prescribing mandatory volunteer hours at the local kill city/county shelter would be a better punishment. Maybe they'd have a little more respect if they saw how many innocent animals are put to death each week in our local shelter, if they were destined to empty all the bodies out of the gas chamber and put them in the trash.
HECK YES I'd chase them, too! SAFELY! There are ways of following someone without being noticed. My question is: how come it took so long for this guy to get the help he needed? I'm going to keep up to date about this one. I'm curious what the final outcome will be! If they're found guilty: slap'em with a fine, probation, and community service at a "no kill" animal shelter cleaning up CRAP! That outta do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do like Pilot's idea, too!
