They have officers that have had over three wrecks and they kept them on....there is more to this story then what they are saying and typical Ure is trying to look like the city savior when actually he is the cancer
The policy as it stands terminates any employee after 3 wrecks regardless of fault. So the officer could be sitting at a red light and someone rearend his vehicle, and that is considered 1 wreck against the officer. Also, they do not enforce this policy for all employees. They have had some officers in the past that have had 3 accidents, and they just remove them from the patrol division.

As long as the wrecks were the fault of the officer, this strikes me as a reasonable policy.
