I voted for Kinky the last time....I can't stand Rick Perry. He is all about more money....in his own pockets.

August 21, 2009 at 10:59 p.m.I guess it has been done before, but I just can recall. It is usually a Governor trying to become a Senator.
If my memory is correct she tried to become Governer once before in the late 70's.
I would love to see someone younger in the position of Governor and Lieutenant Governor.
If elected Perry will be 61 and Kay will be 68 when they take office.
Actually the real power in Texas is held by the Lieutenant Governor.
Kay Bailey will be just fine. Anybody other than a flaming liberal Obama loving Democrat nut job!

August 21, 2009 at 12:37 p.m.Never forget that it was Rick Perry ramrodding the Trans Texas Corridor. For that fact alone, I could never support him for anything. He can end up jobless and homeless, living in a Sears refrigerator box under an overpass for all I care.
