We only water during the "legal" times and then only the new trees. The rest of the yard is suffering. I do have to wonder why there was a fire hydrant running water onto the street on E. Nueces in the vacinity of N. DeLeon/N. Liberty today at noon. There was a LOT more water going down the sewer than I've put on my yard in the last year. What's going on with that????
I can't say that I conserve water any more than I usually do. I don't water my yard...and it is brown and crunchy right now. I wash dishes once a day, by hand, and always have. I don't wash clothes unless there is a full load. We share bath water and reuse it sometimes. It's just something that I've always done anyway.
