  • That is actually a really funny thing. Despite being in my thirties, not having the body one might expect, I have a high metabolism. Within 1 hour I am ready to go again, In fact I’ve actually eaten for over an hour without gaining any weight. I can’t lose weight but I can’t gain it either, it’s really weird.

When I was young I kept getting bigger and my brother would stay small no matter how much we ate. Now he blows up and I just stay the same. When I do work out I look smaller but maintain the body mass, but I find that it also affects my personality. I don’t know about everyone else but when I was skinny I felt it easier to get wound up and stressed.

Establishing a routine brings balance to my mind as well as my body. When I’m hungry I eat, when I feel full I exercise until I feel light; maybe I should mention I walk everywhere and drink lots of water. I walked from red river to Water Street, back to Citizen’s hospital visiting family members once, all in a day. I enjoyed walking, it makes me feel more connected to the community.

I even got to see Pepper once visiting somebody at Detar the same time I was, and an important person in the community’s romantic rendezvous with someone other than his wife. You may not be able to teach an old dog new tricks but no one said anything about old ones, aren’t picture phones great, LoL.

Anyway, thanks for the concern. Maybe one day we can have a respectable breakfast and I can show you pictures I’ve taken around Victoria. I love the life of Victoria, especially from the view of a fly as others drive by.

  • ::slaps forehead:: It wasn't until I heard myself tell a friend, "...If that doesn't help we can all meet for coffee..." that I realized what this question meant. I can't believe how "ding dong" I am!

  • I'm more concerned for your health if you eat all that for breakfast.

  • Yeah, now that I think of it; it was pretty sad. Oh well, live and learn. Bad joke 1807, I just 10.1 trillion to go.

  • Eat two sausage biscuits, two sausage taquitos, a whataburger meal, or the biggest McDonalds breakfasts; while I’m Twittering, doing Facebook and Myspace, checking e-mails, IM old girlfriends about getting old and stupid funny stuff, and doing some online research in various areas and persons of interest.

Then I like to watch the Victoria Advocate meetings, Monday through Friday.

After I get back from “persuading” North Korea to disarm and cooperate, I like to comment or create a new blog post on VA, aren’t I funny?

  • After a late life screening appointment for any health issues lurking inside my body, I am finally enjoying my morning coffee. 11:54 AM. My usual routine involves coffee, the computer, emails, then Facebook. This kind of day really throws off my routine. :)

  • My morning cup of coffee solves a world of problems in me. =D (I wish we had a "high coffee" or "afternoon coffee" time where we all stopped what we were doing to enjoy a cup of coffee. My grandma had "coffee time" at 3:00pm. Children drank milk shakes and adults enjoyed an afternoon cup of coffee...)

  • It helps if you're drinking the coffee in the faculty lounge.
