I don't know if that saves water or not. In my experience, showering with a friend is so much fun, it can go on for a loooooooong time. Not watering the yard is a good idea. It not only saves water, it saves energy -- yours because you don't have to mow.

July 3, 2009 at 10:56 a.m.I can't say that I'm doing anything differently since I have my own well. Actually, I'm using more trying to keep the area around the slab damp so it doesn't crack.
