  • I am a female and understand that we can compete on alot of things at the same level if not better, as for football I just feel that girls should remain OFF the team. You have to think about later in the future what her developing body will go through at this time and how it might change things in the long run. please remember that if she is tough enough to play with the boys in such a tough sport imagine how she would out do girls in a sport with only girls. So please let your daughter shine where she needs to and in sports that might offer her things.

  • They should not play on a boys team. If they want to play they should have their own. Most girls physical makeup could not handle that of a boys. Plain and simple.

  • If girls are willing to let guys play on their softball and volleyball teams then it should be OK to let girls play on the football team. Be careful what you wish for............ I mean, if you want to be totally fair about it.

  • I voted No, but its not a yes or no kinda poll. Do I think they should play, of course, why not. But should it be a co-ed type team, no. I think that is asking for all sorts of injury....

  • We already know that there are too many football injuries that sideline students for good. I personally know of three men with fractured cervical vertabrae. One was expecting to get a college scolarship. Down the drain. The concusions, broken fingers, toes, fractured arms, etc. should be for no student. So why add another group into the mix to be injured and some injured for life.

  • She is a good football player, If a girl wants to play let them. Why single them out and tell them "No"? I would like to know why people think thats girls shouldn't play.
