No overpasses or tunnels are needed. I passed the crosswalk on John Stockbauer this morning and two ladies had come up to the sidewalk, stopped and looked both ways. They saw traffic coming and they waited until the cars passed and then crossed the street. Isn't that the way it's supposed to work?

Whose taxes would be used for a pedestrian over pass? It is my opinion that this time of expenditure should be spent on providing employee's with capped out salaries a one time bonus.

I agree. A pedestrian over pass would alleviate un-necessary stop lights and it would ensure the safety of the children. I really like the Bike - Hike trail and I hope they put more along the trail to accomodate walkers/skaters/bikers to entice more people to be active. This was a good thing done.
