If that is true then why does Iran, N. Korea and to a lesser extent Pakistan, keep yanking Americas chain?
One reason, pay them off for there extortion, which is what it is, N. Korea has played that game for years , now others have learned that they to, can dangle a promise, get a concession from the US, and then fail to follow thru to get even more concessions.

June 27, 2009 at 7:06 p.m.I have always been a strong supporter of the old policy of President Monroe; Monroe Doctrine. But I realize it is rather unrealistic in today's global economy. Each government holds a responsibility to its citizens to ensure domestic tranquility.
