I contend that the government should start selling their shares in GM over a 24 month period. By the government/taxpayers having the majority interest in GM, an unfair advantage over other auto manufactors have been created. The government needs to also get out of the postal service busines, the U S postal service should be sold. I doubt this will happen, because the federal government gets free postage. Also, many non-profits get below cost postal service.
