  • ChoctawMama The kids without a clue will probably be the ones left at home alone the most. Growing up to become complete morons. But , there is help for them. It's called prison, and they are full of morons who never had a clue.

  • I noticed the vote is 50/50 for 10-12yr olds and 14 yr olds, AND NO VOTES for the 16 yr olds. I think it should be based on the responsibility the child has displayed in the past in front of their parents. Also, the child should have emergency numbers, as well as DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR if a stranger is knocking-PERIOD!
BUT MOST OF ALL--HAVE WORKING SMOKE DETECTORS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In my line of work, I've observed homes over the years with no smoke detectors in homes where children lived, so I BOUGHT THEM!
I think EVERY HOME should have smoke detectors! There is NO EXCUSE not to have them!
Ah, Geez--I'm getting off the subject.
    Goodnight!

  • Now days it is not safe for an adult to stay home alone. But, with ppl having to be single parents and or the need for both the parents to work and Jobs being hard to find. People have to. It also has to do with the child. I have seen a child very able at 10 and a 16 yr. old not even seem to have a clue. ~ ;-)
