I cannot believe that the citizens of Victoria are not outraged that the City Manager could possibly get a raise in this economy. If I recall correctly, he received a substantial raise last year, while every other city employee received a pay for performance raise of what, up to 3%. The police department is so underpaid it is pathetic. Let's compare their salary to cities of the same size, and get them a pay raise as well. They do a lot more and work a lot more hours that anyone on the council.

the city manager most be doing a good job for a raise! I think most citizens have no complaints! The folks on here are not most people!
We have plenty of gripes at times and I believe we're not happy unless we can whine!
