  • What a shame! I had no idea what was going on behind-the-scenes of the girl scout cookie business. Everyone is out to make a buck these days and it doesn't matter who they step on in the process. Guess I'll be buying less as well.

  • If you seem to be tearing through those Girl Scout Thin Mints a little faster this year, it isn't you.
    Really, it isn't.
Fewer cookies were packaged into Thin Mints, Do-si-dos and Tagalongs boxes this year and the Lemon Chalet Crème cookies were resized to compensate for the rising cost of baking staples
Back in the day, my wife n I helped our daughter sell these cookies, the box cost $2.25 and we would get 35 cents in return.
we also still support but buy fewer boxes.

  • Agree...the quality has sure gone done. If baylee is correct, it is indeed a rip-off. The parents and children spend a lot of their time and money to only get 25 cents in return.
I also supported my grandchildren with another school fundraiser..."Great American Online www.gaschoolstore.com" when you look it up in the Internet, it seems all items you can get from the dollar store, but, they charge up to 75% more and then they charge outrageous shipping costs.
I will still support them but not buy as many boxes..

  • They have changed several of the cookies, and not for the better. The peanut butter are yucky now. And the cookies are smaller.
