  • SM - I will have to research to see if I can find one of those! Too funny!

  • I was disappointed. I kept waiting for him to get to the $2,500 in savings on my health insurance he repeatedly promised all of us two years ago, but he never mentioned it.

  • Hictoria - my dad said that Biden reminded him of a bobblehead. Just watch.....BOING! BOING! There it goes again!

We had SO much fun watching that speech last night.

And poor little Pelosi. She no longer has a choice seat behind her fearless leader. Awwwwww......

  • RE: Hictoria

When you consider the vice president's age, the fact he gets up early the morning and leaves late at night, deals with problems we will never be able to imagine; an occasional nod is not that big a thing.

BTW was the GOP rebuttal 100% truthful?

  • That's just how Biden is. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and has always been quite animated.

  • Speaking of watching the faces in the background; did you notice Biden's constant head nodding. For a second there, I thought he thought he was at a Metallica concert. I have never seen anyone so hypnotized.

  • I think he said a lot, without saying it. I was watching Boehner's face in the background. Now "that" said a lot.
He was setting up the showdowns that are coming up soon. He took his side to the American public first, hoping the public would demand those changes from the Republicans.

  • The sycophantic, constant applause is just idiotic.

The lies and half-truths coming out of this Boy's mouth make it painfully obvious the deindustrialization of America and thus our debt enslavement to the international banks and China was BY DESIGN.

  • I was going to give him an "I" for incomplete. When his term is up I will address the damage. Advocate "I" should be a choice.

  • vet43 - it is what it is. I will not sit idle and listen to someone (who can by the way speak great) and not follow up on promises. It will all be over in 2 years GOD willing.

  • It seems to me that there are people posting here that would not approve of President Obama if he donated a kidney to them. If you think someone is wrong 100% of the time you may want to do a brain check. You are not getting enough 02.

  • Just as I predicted yesterday, everything he said about technology and education was a lie. We are looking at cuts for the next two years that could be stopped now, but probably will not be. Another thing, "race to the top" and I will show you the money... lol what a complete joke. How do you expect to get to the top if you are cutting funding for education????

  • Count me in ,as one who thought it was an excellent speech but I'm not surprised at the results of the poll nor do I find it necessary to criticize, mock, or try to denigrate those that disagreed with me.

  • Okay, I'm a white conservative Christian woman. If you saw me, you'd think Tea Party and I gave Pres. Obama an A. Contrary to popular narrow minded belief, I truly think that he is trying to help this country. I'm not in total agreement with his healthcare reform, but I believe that he is trying to reduce spending where it needs to be reduced and working to get us back on top.

All, yes, ALL politicians believe that they can fix everything, that Government can fix everything, but has to begin at home. Parents have to get off their butts and quit being selfish and discipline their children and encourage them to be productive citizens if any of the ideas of either party are to succeed. This will require fundamental changes to our society. I just pray that there are enough of us who are up to the challenge to make a difference.

  • Twenty have given Barry a grade of A for his reading of the prompters last night. Note to Victoria PD: there has to be some good weed in town to cause this.
