Rick Perry has defended the desecration of dead bodies as just a harmless prank. That gives me deep pain. War creates very ugly things but the US Military needs to show respect for fallen foe. Thier chain of command is responsible and should be held accountable for those under thier leadership.
As long as we, as taxpayers, can afford to foot the bill, why not let him have a go at it... Perry has been out of the state for about 80 days so far — drawing his full salary and earning Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst about $33,000 extra. Don’t forget it was revealed Perry has been drawing a pension since January for an additional $7,700 per month even though he is not actually retired. Perry and Dewhurst are conservatives who preach the need for fiscal restraint and sacrifice during tough times Gov. Perry has invoked his retirement from the “employee class” of Texas public workers. He now gets to draw a $92,376 annual pension from that fund. Meanwhile, he gets to continue working among the “elected class” of public employees, drawing his $150,000 annual salary as governor. In a way, Perry deserves a salute for using the state retirement system to his advantage
Rick Perry shot himself in the foot early and often in his campaign. Anyone that openly states that he intends to do away with Social Security, when such a large percentage of the population is dependent on it, is a moron.
He has been in so far over his head it is unreal. Once he was exposed to the real world outside of Austin he changed his cowboy boots for big clown shoes.

the whole bunch is a sorry lot! We don't have much choices for a Republican presidential nominee! Obama will win reelection for sure!
January 11, 2012 at 6:22 p.m.I voted yes as I felt sorry for him.
January 11, 2012 at 12:56 p.m.He's polling around 5% in SC right now, so it's very unlikely he'll even crack the top-3.
