VAN VLECK – Jamarious Callies ran for 107 yards and a touchdown as Edna (1-3) held on to take a 25-20 win over Van Vleck (1-3).

Fletcher Robinson ran for 55 yards on 14 carries for the Cowboys and Dominique Dilworth went 11-for-15 passing including a 7-yard touchdown pass to Derrick Edwards in the first quarter.

Dilworth also ran for 46 yards on 13 carries.

Louise 34, Boling 21

BOLING – Kyle Lawson had 200 yards rushing, giving Louise its first win against the also win less Boling Bulldogs 34-21.

Lawson scored two touch downs for the Hornets on runs of 19 and 2 yards. Lawson’s 200 yards came on 31 carries, cover ing more than six yards with ev ery carry.

Clint Barrera scored for Louise (1-3) on an 11-yard run, finishing the night with 42 yards rushing on four carries.

Matthew Blumrick had a 5-yard touchdown run and went 64 yards on six carries.

Flatonia 35, Thrall 21

FLATONIA – Flatonia remained undefeated as they took down the Thrall Tigers 35-21.

Quarterback Jordan Williams had a big night for Flatonia (4-0). Flatonia scored first with a 36-yard pass to Adrian Lighteard. His second score came on a 29-yard fumble return. Williams third score came on a 15-yard run. Williams threw for 158 yards, completing eight passes on 13 attempts with one inter ception.
