Safety precautions were among the questions I wanted to ask the owner who decided not to comment until the investigation is complete, as it says in the article. I am sure we will do a followup. Thanks for the comment.

Yes, I believe a timeline of the events as they unfolded was necessary in the story. Call it a play-by-play if you wish. I assure you, I have compassion for the victim, his family, friends and co-workers and said more than one prayer for them while on the scene. My track record regarding how I report about victims and their families speaks for itself. Thanks for the comments.
Thanks for the interest. It is a fascinating case. The trial is set for February of 2009, not sure of the exact date. I was told they are trying to find an available change of venue. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks, and you are right. I have hundreds of rejection letters that someday I may use as wallpaper...when I make that one big sale! Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for the advice...I am sure I'll find a way, just feel "less than smart" for not taking them off originally when I more or less retired that computer. I appreciate it.
Thanks Brandon...I believe it does have USB ports, and I'll take you up on your offer.

VPD,I am checking now on why that portion of the article did not make it to the web. It was in the print version in a separate box, so that may have been the problem. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
Thanks for bringing that to our attention. It should be corrected shortly.
Thanks for the comments. I too, am a Grisham fan, although I haven't read the last few. And I have, indeed, read both Helter Skelter and In Cold Blood, though both were several years ago. Perhaps it's time to revisit them.I appreciate y'all taking a moment to share your thoughts.
