I wish people would avoid business because of the median - maybe I wouldn't have to wait in LONG, LONG lines to check out at Wal-mart and HEB.
The Wienerschnitchel owner should try to have lunch at Chic-Fillet and THEN tell me how medians affect business. There are many days I drive around medians to have lunch there but change my mind not because of the medians - but because of the LONG LINES of people who did the same as me.
So I doubt seriously it's the medians - it's probably the hotdogs...try fat-free weenies with spinach or something and stop blaming the city for less people not wanting to die from heart disease.
We need more medians - to stop silly people from trying to turn left onto Navarrow ACROSS three lanes of traffic. People have come to think the left turn lane is put there just to assist them in turning ONTO Navarro instead of off of it.
It's MUCH easier and safer to just turn right...then make a U-turn.
Without medians, people just won't do it...and they will have and cause accidents.
And the median has never kept me away from McDonald's - I've never told my kid that I would have gotten him a Happy Meal if it just wasn't for that mean median.
There's only 5 houses on the 1500 block of Westpark - I guess that was the Advocates way of telling us exactly where he lives without telling us exactly where he lives.
What kind of problems did you have at the Port Lavaca Dealership...I was thinking of purchasing from them?
