My mom and dad saw Dr. Qadri for their cancers. While they were being treated, I was diagnosed with cancer and sent to San Antonio for surgery. When it came time for treatment, I begged to be transferred to Dr. Qadri and Dr. Janssen because I trusted them Now, my other mother is going through treatment and I recommended she see Dr.Qadri. I feel comfortable she will get the best care available.

I have seen a remarkable decline in red-light-runners. I feel safer. Carl B, if there's a way, I will come back and haunt you if I am killed at a red light here in Port Lavaca. Seriously. Leave it alone.
Right on, Sunshine!
Mr. Long, I have enjoyed the installments of your story about the Butts family. You honor their memories with great respect while providing us with a clear picture of what happened after the heinous crime was committed. I will say a prayer for the victims and their loved ones left behind.
Friends and I encountered such a brawl in the parking lot of the Calhoun County Fair. The gang was clobbering one boy. We yelled for them to stop but the adrenalin was flowing and punches were flying and fists were pounding flesh. They only stopped after they realized we called for police. Then, to my surprise, they all started running in one direction, together. The boy getting his clock cleaned was part of the script. But, even if they did plan this and one buddy drew the short straw and was the whipping boy, things could have gotten out of control. Somebody could have ended up with a concussion or worse. I hope the ‘good’ parents read this article and are better prepared to talk about bruises, broken glasses or phones or even noses.
GOP, Did you miss the part where Port Lavaca Mayor Jack Whitlow said the cameras haven't made money for the city since the first six months they were installed? The cameras are a matter of safety, he said. I know Jack and Jack doesn't lie.
Thank you, Superintendent Wiggins, for addressing our concerns, and thank you Victoria Advocate, for telling our important story. Tax and insurance costs are driving us away from the coast. This may help if it meets with success.
The children who witnessed this tragedy while walking home from school are also victims. Without realizing how profound it'd be, I listened to their 911 call on the news last night. Even time cannot erase memories of the carnage that played out before them. Poor, poor kids will see this in their dreams for the rest of their lives.
Two young adults from Seadrift, friends since toddlerhood, ran into one another on the sidewalks of New York. The odds against that must be HUGE.
Loretta, my little step-brother beat this in his late twenties and I believe you can to. God bless you and thank you for spreading the dark truth about smoking.
