It's OFFICAL Coach Finley made NO changes, Coach moving players around on the same side of the ball is not the answer guess we'll see after ElCampo. I have tried NOT to be NEGATIVE but It's time for a change Coach Clint, Coach Finley, need to go. And I think VISD is starting to see that. Look up Cleburne and look at all the DRAMA Coach Finley had the SCHOOL board HIM to leave. Same issues here as Cleburne.
I agree with momof2 he has not proven himself. Lets see if anything changes. And another thing Coach Finley the kids could careless about what you did at Cuero your in Victoria NOW.

I had a chance to travel to Brazoswood Saturday and watch the scrimage, all I can say is the OFFENSE looks really good with Dolzel at QB the offense has improved, all running backs looked really good, running hard blocking very good passing game was great to watch. The DEFENSE well that's another story, If Finley puts that same defense on the field come the regular season theVipers will not win very many games the defense is AWFUL they can't tackle, the linebackers need to be replaced one linebacker was the slowest linebacker I have ever seen. Brazoswood ran up and down the field on the Vipers, and when Brazoswood went to throw the ball the corners couldn't cover the safety was SLOW to react, and missed a lot of tackels. Coach Mickey Finley I have been told MANY time that I have to give you a chance to turn things around and STOP beating you and your coaches up in the Advocate, well let's just say I will be a team player moving forward but the entire season is in YOUR hands to see how you fix the DEFENSE I know you saw everything every other person sitting in the stands saw, POOR DEFENSE, POOR COACHING ON DEFENSE,POOR COMMUNICATION ON DEFENSE, and the only thing I can say is if you play the same DEFENSE you played in Brazoswood you better hope your NEW OFFENSE CAN PUT UP SOME POINTS. BY the way your new O.C. great pick up you can see the effects of him already. One more thing for Little Coach Finley when the other team is RUNNING the ball straight up the middle IT'S NOT THE SMARTEST THING TO BE YELLING PASS,PASS,PASS, AND THE BALL CARRIER IS SCORING AT THE SAME TIME.I thought a D.C. would be able to tell the diffrence between RUN AND PASS. Hope to make the next scrimage in Corpus on friday to see what changed, if not I hope to read about it in the advocate. Good Luck Offense
scout what a GREAT youtube clip, that is the kind of coach we need at Victoria at least this coach talks to his TEAM and the media, did you see the intense look in his eyes that is a real 5A High School Football Coach. Maybe we should forward the clip to Bob Moore, oops I forgot him and MICKEY are old buddies so that's not going to work. I guess all we can do is HOPE
Koba you hit the nail square on the head. Bob Moore should be asking why 5 coaches have left the progam. Taylor and Pensek by far the TWO best coaches MHS had and Finley managed to run them OFF. I stopped posting several months ago, because no one would listen, now another year has come and I feel SORRY for every SENIOR kid on that team. Go to 7 on 7 and listen to the parents in the stands talk about how several kids have failed to make weekly WORKOUTS but come Wed. they spend most if not all the time on the field. And don't give me this crap Finley doesn't control what kids see playing time on 7 on 7. Coach Husmann your comments just blew me away "everybody wants to do it for Coach Finley" Wow didn't take you long to fit inside the inner circle, but be careful not to upset Parma or Clint you might get in trouble.
I went to the Game and it was BAD. #7 will not make it as a quarterback first drive fullback wide open (for touchdown)in the end zone and like he does every game keeps the ball and runs. Coach Finley needs to make major changes before next week to have a chance to win and it needs to start with the Quarterback he never pitches the ball when he should. After listening to all the viper fans last night all he cares about is getting "HIS YARDS" while the rest of the teams suffers. Any team that turns the ball over 7 times no matter what level the results will always be 58 - 0. Defense you have one corner who was beat on a simple STOP AND GO, and the other cornerback is jogging on the field (like he gave up in the first half) so to want Judson to pass was not a good thing the two corners we currently have any team can throw the ball on the vipers as long as we show that type of weak coverage. I have to think Coach Finley worked on the halfback pass?? if so why was the reciver WIDE open? Did the defense work on any basic how to tackle drills this passed week?
Hopefully now Viper Mom #72 WILL SHUT UP WITH THAT VIPER STATE TALK. And that so called O-Line WOW that is the weakest part of the team but they know how to stand straight up and get knocked back, that's what happens when your O-Line is WEAK, SLOW. May be they should all go back to HOWELL and start lifting weights. Viper Mom #72 PLEASE do everyone a favor and take one game at a time, everyone is tired of hearing you.
