Congrats Melissa, there is no end to what one can do. All that is necessary is taking the first step. I applaud you.

Thankful for 100 Club for supporting education. I cannot think of a better way to build a community! So proud of you Zac, two thumbs up!Aunt Blanche
We purchased a Prius V and I love it. Our goal was to cut our gas bills in half and we have absolutely accomplished that goal. One concern for purchase was the size of the car for seating adults comfortably and hauling items. This is why we went with the V, it has the room of a small SUV. Now it does not take off, and it is not exactly a hot look, but it is very comfortable, gets us where we want to go, keeps me from backing into things and I feel I have got something special which I will be able to get serviced locally. Count em 40 miles per gallon, other Prius models even more. Talk to me again in five years, but today, I am VERY satisfied.
My husband and I always enjoy Athena's. When we go for dinner we always enjoy an appetizer, main course with side and a dessert. My creature of habit husband just loves the Gyros, I have enjoyed the grilled whole snapper, lamb shank, and kabob. We enjoy the Greek salad with an extra side of Feta with our dinner. The owners are helpful in suggesting wine. For lunch, the Greek salad with grilled shrimp is my fav. Athena's is on our short list when we want something special. Blanche de Leon and Mercy Rendon.
Congratulations from a fellow alumna of T.W.U., we need more advance practice nurses like you. You go girl!
How did you guess this was where the family was going next? One of our objectives was to gather the family and engage in expanding what we individually knew of our history, build a collective body, as well as encourage new research. Recent research does not support what is been commonly held as truth about the Calle de los Diez Amigos, as stated. Each time we unlock new information, we learn more about not only ourselves, but the colonial history of Victoria. It is a history that should be fondly embraced, by not only descendants, but the community; our history is the history of Victoria, it is an honorable one, and much older than we commonly have known. We agree Victoria needs a tribute to it's founders, Don Martin de Leon, Dona Patricia de la Garza and their children. With this homecoming, the family initiates a Don Martin Historical Monument project. We hope Victoria joins us in our vision. Blanche de Leon
