I am not saying this in a bad way, but why was she allowed such a long time to speak?

    Oldbill,
I agree with your commit "Though misunderstood, that comment cost him" I think that has happened to us all at one point or another.

What Mr. Ives was referring to was ID's. He said that he would check their ID's and the question was asked how would you know they were fake and he said "you can tell"
It did come across as a little off, but I think that was what he was referring to.

Are you referring to the Young Republican Organization? Please clarify.

I am always willing to discuss ideas and concerns regarding our government, as long as it stays respectful. I can not attend all city and county meetings. I do watch the city council meetings on TV though.

I spend a lot of my time volunteering in the community through non profits to try to make a difference in our community locally. I also work within the political system to try and make a difference and yes also make some changes. I find it much more productive to work with people instead of against them.

If it was all socials and parties it would be a lot easier and more fun, but more often than not, it is just a lot of hard work!

If you would like to discuss why I choose certain candidates, please feel free to call me.

I hope you have a wonderful afternoon :-)

I am a Republican and I do not live in Country Club. Why, single out Country Club, people that live in country club did not get there over night. I am sure they worked hard, went to collge, saved their money, etc.. Is that not the American way? I resent that phrase, even though I do not live in Country Club! Do not thumb your nose at success and hard work and do not look down on people that have done well for themselves.

All but a view of the choices are negative. Why do we want to bring up that type of story again?
Can we not focus on positive highlights in our community for 2009?

My comments were neither mean nor viscous and they certainly did not get personal. I was only asking for ideas on where Mr. Ocker stands. Like I have said before debate is healthy, personal attacks are not. I do agree with Mr. Ocker regarding his views on peoples business and personal lives, they should not be a topic for this discussion.
