"Off of the last subject but on your direction is in Rocky Mountain Nation Park. They've protected the Elk so much that they have eaten all the willows in the valleys along the streams and now they have an issue with the Beavers or lack there of. They are having to relocate/exterminate the Elk and try and see if the Beaver will return.. Sometimes over-protecting is not the answer. Quite the contrary.."
