I just spoke with Pama Hencerling, chief juvenile probation officer at the Juvenile Justice Center.
Hencerling said Devin may not be able to adopt Alice not only because of the money situation, but also because of the yard/fence situation where they live.
Those willing to donate to Devin and Alice are asked to instead donate to Adopt-A-Pet and tell them they want it to go toward the Dream Seekers program. The money will go toward maintaining and caring for the dogs. The donation will be tax deductable!

I don’t have a contact name for you, but I’m sure if you call Adopt–A-Pet, 361-575-7387, or the Juvenile Justice Center, 361-575-0399, they should be able to direct you to the person you need to speak with to be able to make a donation for Devin to adopt Alice. The breakout box attached to this story states that Hilario Figirova, aka "Dirty Pennies," was arrested on Wednesday after being on the run. Figirova is the third HPL member to whom the headline is referring. In case you were unaware, the breakout boxes do contain story information as well.

Paul, who owns and runs South Side Graphix, lists on the flyer that his contact number is 786-326-9242. He designed the flyer for The Office strip club, located in Miami at 250 Northeast 183rd Street.

Getsmart—I’m not going to get into this debate again. I report on a variety of blogs and stories under the umbrella topic of demographics and dockets as well as the occasional article on something unrelated. You have made the decision to pick and choose stories from my repertoire of work to make an unsubstantiated, fallacious conclusion.
Going forward, I will continue to post links to national news stories. If I have not done the reporting myself for a story, I will post an excerpt from it on my blog and post the link to the full story. I am not prompting people to click on questionable websites. If I post something about a non-local story, it is something that has been reported on by reputable sites such as MSNBC, CNN, Huffington Post, etc. Therefore, I suggest if you have an issue with those websites’ posting of related links, please take it up with them.
As a reminder, while you are allowed and welcome to share your opinions on the content of my blog posts/articles and the way a story was reported, personal attacks on me do violate VicAd user agreement rules and will not be tolerated.
In summarizing your comments about me both through your blog comments and other correspondence, you have accused me of having an ill-agenda, questioned my news judgment and questioned my education.
The bottom line is there are many blogs and articles on our website for you to choose from and read.
